The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable and safety-focused MR Delivery Driver to join our Warners Bay Distribution team.

Based from our Warners Bay branch, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers across the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter regions receive their orders safely, accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role that combines driving, freight handling and warehouse support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently and being part of a supportive team.

We are particularly looking for candidates who can support our busy trading periods and maintain flexibility throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

· Safely operate MR vehicles in accordance with road transport legislation and company procedures

· Complete deliveries and collections accurately and on schedule

· Load, unload and handle freight using protected manual handling practices

· Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance requirements

· Ensure loads are secured and transported safely

· Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery





· Support warehouse, dispatch and general operational activities as required

· Maintain compliance with all WHS, Chain of Responsibility and company safety requirements

- A current Australian MR (Medium Rigid) Driver's Licence

- A strong commitment to safety and compliance

- Excellent reliability, punctuality and attendance

- The ability to perform physical work including lifting and freight handling

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Previous delivery driving, transport or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)

- Basic technology skills, including the use of GPS and mobile devices

- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team

- Availability to work Saturdays

- Availability throughout the Christmas and New Year period, including peak trading weeks

Additional Information

This role is aligned with the Road Transport and Distribution Award 2010 [MA000038] – Transport Worker Grade 2, with duties including MR driving, freight handling, and general operational support.
