The Role

We are looking for a Cyber Business Manager to work closely with the CISO of a reputable organisation, based in Brisbane.

This is a high-impact, business-focused role within Cyber for someone who can bridge the gap between Technology, Cyber and the broader business.

You’ll be comfortable engaging with technical teams and senior executives, quickly understanding complex issues and turning priorities into action.

Working with the CISO, you’ll help drive key priorities forward, bring the right people together, prepare executive and Board discussions, and ensure important initiatives and decisions progress.

Main Responsibilities

- Coordinate and progress key Cyber and business priorities.
- Take ownership of issues and initiatives, driving them through to resolution.
- Connect Cyber, Technology, project teams and corporate functions to get outcomes.
- Prepare and coordinate executive, Board and Committee papers and presentations.
- Turn complex information into clear, concise material for senior decision-makers.
- Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial management.
- Coordinate activities across risk, governance, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Track key actions, decisions and commitments and ensure they progress.
- Support transformation and change initiatives across the Cyber function.
- Identify roadblocks and work with stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
- Improve Cyber processes,



ways of working and operating rhythms.
- Manage sensitive matters with discretion, sound judgement and professionalism.

Key Skills Required

- A strong technical foundation in Cyber Security or Technology.
- Experience moving from a technical role into strategy, operations, business management or leadership.
- Confidence engaging with senior Technology, Cyber and business stakeholders.
- Solid written communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive and Board-level material.
- Ability to influence and coordinate people across teams to achieve outcomes.
- Understanding of risk, governance, financial management or regulatory environments.
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
- Excellent judgement, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- High levels of discretion and professionalism.
