We're seeking an experienced Senior Field Technician to undertake installation, maintenance and fault-finding activities across a range of telecommunications technologies while delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

Your new role

As a Senior Field Technician, you'll work autonomously across customer premises and network infrastructure carrying out installation, repair and maintenance work on telecommunications services and equipment.
You'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving faults, performing preventative maintenance, supporting network upgrades and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Install, maintain and repair telecommunications network infrastructure
✅ Diagnose and resolve complex faults across fibre, copper and HFC networks
✅ Complete service activation and assurance activities
✅ Perform fibre splicing, cable termination and testing activities
✅ Conduct network inspections and quality audits
✅ Support network upgrades and maintenance programmes
✅ Maintain accurate job and network records
✅ Deliver exceptional customer service and first-time resolutions
✅ Adhere to all safety, compliance and quality requirements

What you'll need to succeed





To be successful, you will possess:

- Current ACMA Cabling Licence
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Certificate III or IV in Telecommunications
- Demonstrated experience in a telecommunications field-based role
- Experience working with Fibre, Copper and/or HFC technologies
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
