The Role
As a Rigid Watercart Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of watercart equipment across the project, including dust suppression, road maintenance and general site support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operating a rigid watercart in accordance with site and project requirements
- Dust suppression and road maintenance activities
- Completing daily pre-starts and equipment checks
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping around the work area
- Following all site safety, environmental and operational procedures
- Working effectively as part of a wider construction team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience operating a rigid watercart, preferably in civil construction, mining or major infrastructure projects
- Relevant VOC/competency for the equipment
- A current HR or equivalent heavy vehicle licence
- White Card
- Strong commitment to safety
- Valuable communication and reliability
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous wind farm or large civil project experience is advantageous
