Pratt Property Group is seeking a Commercial Property Manager/Paralegal to join our growing team at our Mooloolaba office in Queensland. This is a full-time position that combines property management expertise with legal support capabilities. You will play a crucial role in managing commercial properties whilst providing essential paralegal support to our legal operations. This position is based in Mooloolaba QLD 4557 and offers the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set across both property management and legal administration sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Managing commercial property portfolios including tenant relations, lease administration and property maintenance coordination
- Conducting property inspections and preparing detailed reports on property condition and compliance
- Preparing and reviewing commercial lease documentation, agreements and related legal correspondence
- Supporting conveyancing transactions
- Maintaining accurate property records, registers and filing systems in accordance with legal requirements
- Liaising with tenants, solicitors and external service providers to resolve property and legal matters
- Assisting with contract reviews and identifying legal risks or compliance issues
- Managing rent collection, tenant arrears and enforcement procedures where necessary
- Ensuring compliance with relevant property management legislation, regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
- Qualification or formal training in property management or paralegal experience
- Proven experience in commercial property management, ideally within a property management firm or real estate organisation
- Sound knowledge of commercial leasing practices, property law and conveyancing principles
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional approach to client and stakeholder relations
- Understanding of legal compliance and documentation requirements within the property sector
- Organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Problem-solving ability and initiative in addressing tenant and property-related issues
- Current or recent experience in a legal environment or paralegal role
- Knowledge of Queensland property legislation and regulations
