Our client is a large values-focused Federal Government Agency seeking an experienced EL2 Program Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of several complex, cross-functional projects focused on improving program integrity.
This is a senior delivery role working across business, technology, change and operational teams to translate strategic goals into clear roadmaps, delivery schedules and measurable outcomes.
ROLE DETAILS:
Location: Melbourne or Geelong VIC
Contract: 12 months + 12-month extension option
Working arrangement: Hybrid - full time (37.5hrs/wk)
Security: NV1 clearance highly preferred; candidates must at minimum be able to obtain NV1
Eligibility: Australian Citizen mandatory

ABOUT THE ROLE:
You'll lead multiple interdependent projects across a broader integrity program, working with technical delivery teams, change specialists and senior stakeholders.
The focus is on establishing clear program roadmaps and backlogs, managing delivery risks and dependencies, applying Agile ways of working and ensuring key government milestones remain on track.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead delivery across multiple cross-functional projects and workstreams.
- Translate program goals into roadmaps, backlogs, schedules and delivery priorities.
- Manage resources, risks, issues, dependencies and delivery milestones.
- Lead Agile planning, sprint ceremonies,
reviews and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitor program health, performance and delivery metrics and take corrective action where required.
- Provide explicit reporting and visibility to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate business, technology, change and external stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing complex cross-functional projects using Agile methodologies.
- Strong working knowledge in one or more of: Identity, Payment/Claim Processing or Integrity.
- Current NV1 security clearance highly preferred.
- Federal Government program/project delivery experience highly favoured.
- Strong understanding of integrity challenges and ability to translate these into measurable program outcomes.
- Proven delivery experience across business, technology, enabling services and external stakeholders.
- Strong senior stakeholder management, communication and influencing capability.
- Program, Project Management or Agile qualifications.
