KeyMoves Recruitment are partnering with a highly regarded accounting firm in Melbourne’s South East to recruit an experienced Accountant/Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in delivering both compliance and business services, while managing your own client work and building strong client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns

- Preparation of SMSF financial statements and annual returns

- Independently completing jobs ready for manager review

- Identifying tax risks and non-compliance issues

- Assisting with the preparation of practical tax and business advice

- Providing business services to a diverse range of clients

- Building and maintaining strong client relationships

- Working closely with managers and the wider team to deliver quality client outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:





- 3–5 years’ experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm

- Strong technical tax and business services knowledge

- Hands-on experience preparing SMSF financial statements and annual returns

- Solid written and verbal English communication skills

- Experience using Xero and Xero Practice Manager

- Experience with BGL Simple Fund 360 and NowInfinity would be advantageous

- Mandarin speaking, reading and writing skills are preferred but not mandatory

- A proactive attitude with the ability to build strong client relationships
