About the role

Join a leading Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit and play a key role in bringing innovative cancer research studies to life. We are seeking a highly organised Regulatory & Start Up Administrative Assistant to support the efficient coordination of site start-up and study activation activities across a diverse portfolio of clinical trials.

This is a full-time, 12-month contract opportunity, operating across both the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research and Liverpool Hospital. The unit combines world-class clinical infrastructure with cutting-edge research capabilities to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients across one of New South Wales' most diverse and rapidly growing communities.

This role will provide administrative support to the Regulatory & Start Up team, assisting with the preparation, maintenance and tracking of regulatory and essential study documentation, including Investigator Site Files. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the timely activation of clinical research studies while maintaining accurate records in accordance with applicable regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)



and organisational requirements.

About You

Essential Criteria:

- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or similar support role.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team while also using initiative to achieve objectives.

- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and online systems/databases.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

- Professional, adaptable and positive "can-do" attitude.

- Highly organised, motivated and aligned with organisational values.

Desirable Criteria:

- Experience working with databases.
