You'll work as part of our experienced design and project delivery team, delivering electrical infrastructure designs across a diverse range of projects throughout Queensland.
Key responsibilities
- Energex and Ergon Energy distribution network designs
- Underground Residential Distribution (URD) designs
- Residential and commercial subdivision electrical reticulation
- Street lighting design
- Overhead and underground network design
- Large-lot subdivision and network augmentation projects
- Coordination with Energex, Ergon Energy, developers, civil consultants and other project stakeholders
- Supporting projects from early concept and feasibility through detailed design, approvals and construction
About you
- A relevant Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in electrical distribution network design
- Energex and/or Ergon Energy design experience
- An understanding of Queensland electrical distribution standards and requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage priorities and work effectively within a busy project environment
- Take ownership of your work, enjoy solving problems and want to continue developing professionally
