You will perform a varied range of breast imaging examinations, including breast ultrasound, working closely with radiologists to ensure accurate assessment, documentation and timely patient management. You will be an important part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate care to patients.
Key responsibilities
- Performing high-quality breast ultrasound examinations
- Assessing and accurately documenting sonographic findings
- Working collaboratively with breast radiologists and the multidisciplinary team
- Supporting ultrasound-guided and other image-guided procedures where required
- Applying sound clinical judgement and attention to detail
- Providing patients with a calm, professional and reassuring experience
- Maintaining high standards of clinical practice, documentation and patient safety
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative clinical environment
About you
- ASAR accreditation and eligibility to work in Australia
- Demonstrated experience in breast ultrasound and breast imaging
- Solid technical and clinical skills
- The ability to work confidently and independently while collaborating closely with radiologists and clinicians
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality imaging
- A warm, empathetic and patient-centred approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in interventional breast procedures or mammography will be highly regarded
