About the role

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced hairdresser who is ready for more than simply managing their own column.

You'll continue doing what you're great at — consultations, colour, cutting and looking after clients — while using your experience to lead, mentor and support the people around you.

You'll have genuine influence over salon standards, team development and client experience, while working directly with ownership and our salon leaders.

For someone with strong management or multi-site experience, there is genuine scope to take on broader leadership across our Brisbane salon network.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and support salon teams while remaining hands-on with clients

- Mentor, coach and develop other hairdressers

- Support complex consultations and technical work

- Maintain exceptional client experience and salon standards

- Support salon managers and senior team members

- Contribute to education and team development

- Support recruitment and onboarding

- Help improve salon performance and productivity

- Confidently resolve challenging client and operational situations

- Help maintain consistent standards across our Brisbane salons

- Work directly with ownership on people, performance and salon operations

About you

- Around 10+ years of professional hairdressing experience (Post Qualification)

- Technically strong and confident across cutting, colour and consultations

- An excellent communicator and confident consultant





- Comfortable independently managing complex client consultations

- Previous salon leadership, management, education or multi-site experience highly regarded

- Calm and capable when situations become challenging

- Reliable, consistent and accountable

- Commercially aware

- Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership

- Able to coach, mentor and give constructive feedback

- Supportive of the people around you

- Still genuinely passionate about being behind the chair
