CJD are looking for an experienced Service Person to join our workshop team in Darwin!

If you’ve worked in a light, medium or heavy-duty vehicle workshop and are comfortable carrying out scheduled servicing and general mechanical repairs, this role could be a great fit! You'll be working alongside experienced colleagues who share their expertise and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Scheduled servicing on Isuzu, Kenworth and other on-highway trucks.

- Oil, filter and fluid changes.

- Routine service inspections.

- Inspecting vehicles and identifying maintenance and repair requirements.

- Completing basic mechanical repairs during servicing.

- Maintaining accurate service and repair documentation.

- Keeping a safe, clean and organised workshop.

- Communicating with the workshop team identified faults and required repairs.

What We Are Looking For

What’s most important is that you take pride in your work, have good mechanical understanding and can be relied upon to complete assigned duties safely and to a high standard.



A trade qualification is desirable but experience in a similar role is essential.

You’ll also need:

- A current driver’s license.

- Your own basic workshop tools.

- A proven employment history carrying out similar service and mechanical work within a workshop environment.

- Previous experience servicing trucks, buses or light commercial vehicles.

- A strong commitment to workplace safety.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
