Our growing Early Education to Year 12 college is seeking a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant to support the Principal and lead the College’s enrolments and communications.
About Stromlo Forest Anglican College
Stromlo Forest Anglican College is the first new Anglican school in Canberra in more than twenty years, and is an Early Education to Year 12 school. The College opened in 2026, will grow to Year 8 in 2027 and will ultimately serve more than 1,800 students.

About the Role
Reporting to the Principal, the Executive Assistant manages the day-to-day operations of the Principal’s Office and provides high-level, confidential administrative support. The role also leads the College’s enrolment and communications functions, playing a key part in supporting the College’s growth and representing the College to families, staff and the wider community.
As a member of our founding team, you will help establish the systems, processes and standards that will serve the College for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
• Executive support: manage the Principal’s calendar, correspondence, meetings and priorities; prepare documents, reports and presentations
• Meetings and governance: prepare agendas, papers and minutes; support Board and regulatory reporting
• Enrolments: manage enquiries, College tours, applications, interviews, offers, waitlists and enrolment data and reporting
• Communications: coordinate the weekly community update, College correspondence, website and social media content, and brand consistency
• Events: coordinate Principal-hosted events, Open Mornings, Orientation Days and community functions
• Administration: provide support for recruitment, staff onboarding and office operations
About You
• Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a senior administrative role, preferably in a school or education setting
• Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading skills
• Experience in enrolments, admissions, customer service or database management
• Experience with websites, social media and community communications
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn recent systems quickly
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A high level of discretion, professionalism and sound judgement
• Willingness to support the Anglican ethos and values of the College
• A current ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration (or the ability to obtain one)
