We are seeking a chef or short order cook for our cafe, on the waterfront of Sandgate. You’ll be working amongst our friendly dedicated staff who have worked hard to get our current cafe up and running over the last 24 months.

The Bay Cafe is the only cafe located on the beautiful foreshore of Sandgate. Because of its sublime location it has become one of the most popular destinations for locals, and visitors to the area.

We are looking for a short order cook/chef for about 20 -25 hours per week preferably with Cert 2 or Cert 3 in commercial cooking who can assist our chefs with their cooking, plating and preparation.

Candidate must be available weekends and the odd week day . Attention to detail and pride in food presentation is a must. If you would like to work in a happy kitchen, then this position could well suit you.

We’re open 7 days a week and you‘ll need to be able to work on weekends.
