From humble roots in Eromanga, QLD, we’ve been fuelling the furthest corners of Australia for over 40 years. But we think the most exciting journey is still on the horizon.

Joining IOR means stepping into a role where your work genuinely matters. As our Marketing Assistant, you’ll help bring our brand to life through engaging content, social media, high-volume video production, campaigns and customer communications. Working alongside a high-performing marketing team, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting customer engagement, brand growth and digital marketing initiatives across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career marketer who’s eager to learn, contribute ideas and build valuable experience across a broad range of marketing activities.

About the role

This role supports the delivery of IOR’s marketing, communications and brand activities across digital and traditional channels. You’ll help coordinate content, social media, campaigns, video and photography projects while supporting customer engagement initiatives and marketing operations. Video production is a core part of the role, with regular responsibility for planning, filming, editing and publishing content across multiple channels. It’s a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of marketing and work closely with stakeholders across the business.

- Plan, film, edit and release a consistent volume of video content for campaigns, customer and employee stories, leadership communications and digital channels.
- Create platform-ready video, including full-length versions, social cutdowns, website content, webinar recuts and internal uploads.
- Coordinate photography shoots, headshots and site content, including suppliers, briefs, approvals and logistics.
- Edit, resize, retouch, convert and maintain photo and video assets for digital and print channels.
- Create and coordinate content across social media, digital channels,

campaigns and customer communications.
- Assist with digital marketing initiatives including website updates, EDMs, HubSpot campaigns and marketing automation.
- Produce and update branded materials using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Photoshop, including presentations, banners, posters, one-page documents and campaign assets.
- Maintain marketing schedules, campaign tracking, branded materials, the corporate asset library and supplier coordination to keep projects running smoothly.
- Monitor campaign and channel performance using marketing insights and reporting tools to support continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

You’ll bring a passion for marketing, strong organisational skills and a willingness to get involved wherever needed. You’re creative, proactive and keen to develop your skills across content creation, social media, digital marketing and brand communications. Whether you’re a recent graduate or have a year or two of experience, you’ll be excited to learn, contribute and grow with the team.

- Relevant qualification in marketing, or early-career experience in marketing, communications, digital campaigns or content creation.
- Demonstrated hands-on video production and editing capability is essential. You must be confident planning shoots, filming, editing and producing polished, platform-ready content.
- Practical experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Photoshop, is essential.
- Solid written communication skills with the ability to create engaging content for a range of audiences and channels.
- Experience managing social media content,

digital communications or email marketing activities.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365, with exposure to tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, CMS platforms and other creative software viewed favourably.
- A portfolio or examples of video, photography and design work will be highly regarded.
