The chance
We're seeking expressions of interest from Superintendents and Superintendent's Representatives with a strong track record administering Australian Standard contracts on medium to large building infrastructure projects. Engagements range from discrete project roles to ongoing assignments, depending on project needs and your availability. You would be joining a team of specialist Superintendent's currently delivering a broad range of projects in the market and will contribute to and be supported by the core capability and expertise that Bluetier offers.

Key responsibilities

- Act as Superintendent (or Superintendent's Representative) under AS 4000, AS 2124 or similar contract forms, impartially administering the contract between principal and contractor

- Assess and certify progress claims, variations and extensions of time within contractual timeframes

- Issue directions, notices and certificates, including Practical Completion and Final Certificates

- Manage the defects liability period and close-out





- Chair or attend site meetings and maintain rigorous contract records

- Support early resolution of disputes and claims

- Report to clients on cost, program and contractual risk

About you

- Demonstrated experience as Superintendent or Superintendent's Representative on building projects, ideally $10M+

- Thorough working knowledge of AS 4000 and/or AS 2124 (AS 4902 / AS 4300 design-and-construct experience highly regarded)

- Background in building construction, project management, quantity surveying, architecture or engineering

- Sound judgement, independence and clear written communication

- Experience in public sector, health, education, community or utility projects is an advantage

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry accreditation (e.g. AIQS, AIPM, AIB)

- Current driver's licence and the ability to travel to project sites
