Area Manager – Karratha

TVH is seeking an Area Manager to lead our Pilbara operation from Karratha, with regular travel across the region. You’ll lead a Service Team Leader, technicians and an apprentice, overseeing customer relationships, service delivery and day-to-day regional operations for customers including Coles, Ventia and Telstra.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the operation — working with customers, solving problems and making sure work is delivered safely and effectively. You’ll stay close to your team and customers, understand what’s happening across the region and step in when needed. You’ll provide clear direction, work through operational challenges and support your Service Team Leader and technicians.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and helping teams succeed. You’ll have the backing of a national business, with the autonomy to make local decisions and take ownership of the region.

About the Role

As Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

- Leading, supporting and developing the Pilbara service team
- Working closely with the Service Team Leader to manage day-to-day operational priorities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers across the region
- Supporting the delivery of planned maintenance, reactive service and project works
- Maintaining visibility of service performance, customer commitments and operational priorities




- Working through customer and service issues to keep delivery on track
- Supporting the team to work safely, efficiently and professionally
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen existing customer relationships and grow TVH’s presence across the region

About You

Your background may be in service delivery, operations, facilities or team leadership within HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, fire, facilities maintenance or another trade-based service workplace. You may also be ready to step into broader responsibility. More importantly, we’re looking for someone who:

- Has experience leading and supporting operational or trade-based teams
- Builds credible relationships with customers and employees
- Can make sound decisions and take ownership within their remit
- Communicates clearly and follows issues through to resolution
- Enjoys developing people and creating a positive team environment
