The Opportunity
We’re looking for a curious and highly structured Technical Business Analyst to join our Technology Solutions & Data team.

This is a hands-on role sitting between the business and technology. You’ll work with people across the firm to understand what they need, get to the heart of the problem and translate those needs into requirements that can be designed, built and implemented successfully.

You don’t need to be a developer or already know every system. What matters more is your ability to think logically, understand how systems work, ask good questions and learn quickly.

You’ll work alongside experienced Business Analysts and technology professionals, giving you the opportunity to build strong capability across business analysis, systems design, process improvement and technology delivery.

What You’ll Do

- Work with stakeholders to understand business problems, processes and requirements
- Map current and future-state processes and identify what needs to change
- Translate business needs into transparent requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Help assess technology solutions and contribute to solution design and business cases
- Understand how proposed systems will work and how they will impact teams and processes
- Design test scenarios and test cases for new systems and system changes
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing
- Work with implementation teams to help ensure solutions deliver what the business needs
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes
- Use AI-enabled tools to support analysis, documentation and delivery

The role covers the full journey from understanding the problem through to requirements, design and testing.





About You
You may already have some Business Analyst experience, or you may be a recent graduate looking to build a career in technology. Either way, you’ll be someone who enjoys solving problems, understanding how things work and turning ideas into practical solutions.

You bring:

- Genuine interest in technology, systems and how things work
- Confidence approaching people, asking questions and gathering the information you need
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder skills
- Initiative and the drive to keep things moving
- Comfort working through ambiguity and changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organisation

A background or qualification in IT, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline would be highly regarded, as would experience in business analysis, technology projects or IT consulting.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone proactive and engaged - someone who will speak to people, investigate the issue and work through the problem rather than wait for the answer to come to them.
