Specialist Corporate Tax | Director Level | Melbourne

A highly regarded specialist corporate tax firm is continuing its growth and looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Tax Director to join its Melbourne team.

This is an excelptional opportunity for a senior tax professional who enjoys working on complex corporate tax matters, advising sophisticated clients and playing a key role in the continued growth of a specialist practice.

The Opportunity as a Director, you will work closely with the firm's leadership team and take responsibility for a portfolio of high-quality corporate clients. You will be involved in both technical tax advisory and client relationship management, while also having the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of the business. The business consists predominately of ex Big4 leaders who are highly regarded in the market.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing high-level corporate tax advice to Australian and international clients
- Advising on complex tax structuring, transactions and corporate tax matters
- Manage the existing Melbourne client portfolio whilst using your network to bring in new business
- Managing and developing key client relationships
- Reviewing and overseeing corporate tax compliance and advisory work
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships and develop current business
- Contributing to the continued growth and direction of the Melbourne practice





About You We are looking for an experienced tax professional who has developed strong technical and commercial expertise within corporate tax.
Ideally, you will have:

- Significant Australian corporate tax experience
- Ex Big4/Top-Tier experience
- Experience operating at Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director level
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax and tax advisory
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A commercial approach and genuine interest in business development
- The ability to lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team
- CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification
