Branch Manager - Wesfil Hobart

We are seeking an energetic results driven Branch Manager to lead our Automotive Aftermarket Car Parts Hobart branch. You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all customers in your region. You will manage our warehouse operations and busy wholesale distributor network of customers, drive sales growth, optimise inventory and deliver exceptional customer service!

- Drive Sales: Maintain and grow relationships with all stakeholders.

- Account Management: Proactively identify and analyse local market opportunities to consistently meet and exceed branch revenue targets.

- Customer Service: Lead the wholesale operations desk and phone lines to deliver rapid, accurate parts interpretation and reliable bulk order delivery.

- Stock Optimization: Manage stock control to guarantee full inventory depth across all lines, ensuring zero gaps in parts availability for our wholesale distribution network.

- Warehouse & Dispatch: Oversee daily goods receiving, parts picking, and the local delivery driver schedule for rapid wholesale dispatch.

- Financial Operations: Oversee the branch P&L;, strictly control operational costs,



and manage all electronic and account-based financial reconciliations.

- People Management: Recruit, train, and mentor the Hobart team.

- HSW Leadership: Champion a proactive safety culture across the branch by ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) regulations, conducting regular risk assessments, ensuring licensing compliance, and maintaining a hazard-free warehouse setting.

- Industry Experience: Strong background in automotive parts interpretation or aftermarket distribution (essential).

- Leadership: Proven experience managing a branch, trade counter, or warehouse team within a B2B distribution environment.

- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with aftermarket car parts.

- Technical Skills: Must be a quick learner of IT systems (Pronto ERP; Phocas).

- Licences: Valid Australian driver’s licence (forklift licence is also a strong advantage).
