Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will be part of a small team located in the Ipswich Office working in close cooperation with the engineering, manufacturing and construction units. Aquatec Maxcon Pty Ltd is a leading provider of water, wastewater technology and equipment in Australia engaged in work throughout Australia providing solutions to clients.
Key responsibilities
Accurate and timely reporting of financial information in line with timelines, presentation guidelines and statutory requirements
Ensure all balance sheet accounts are completed accurately and efficiently monthly
Manage chart of accounts and ensure integrity of the GL
Proactive management of relationships with all stakeholders
Oversee the planning and management of annual stocktake of major asset classes in all locations – Inventory and Fixed Assets
Ensure Tax compliance with all corporate and statutory requirements
Work with operational stakeholders to help identify areas of cost reduction
About you
Degree qualified, ideally a Bachelor in Accounting
Ideally progressing to or holding CA/CPA qualification
Several years of experience in a similar role
Experience in a similar industry highly sought after
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of experience in the use of Microsoft Excel
