We are looking for a qualified mechanic to join our GSE team here at Brisbane Airport. We are looking for someone eager to do something different everyday within a small team.
About you:
Trade qualified Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light Plant Mechanic or similar
Experienced in diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service in the field.
Demonstrated skills in understanding customer support requirements.
Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours
Conduct all duties adhering to relevant safety and environmental policies ensuring a safe work place
Self motivated and can think out side of the box
Must be willing to learn and work with equipment they may not have previous knowledge with
Current drivers licence (Required)
A valuable understanding of basic DC electrical circuits
Must be a clean worker and maintain a clean work area
Must be able to adapt to different jobs and situations
Tig and Mig welding skills are preferred although not required

Lav Carts
Water carts
Light vehicles
Access stairs
Luggage barrows
Light fabrication.
Job Type: Casual with full time opportunity
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Schedule:
8 hour shifts - minimum 25 hours per week regular over time
Monday to Friday
On call
Experience:
Automotive/GSE plant Experience
Licence/Certification:
Trade Certificate (Required)
Must be able to obtain an ASIC and ADA
Drivers license (Required)
