As our Restaurant Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the reservations operation and ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for our guests. This is an in-store, hands-on role, working closely with our restaurant management and front-of-house teams. You will be the key point of contact for reservations and guest enquiries, while helping the wider team deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Key responsibilities
Manage the restaurant's daily reservations and booking enquiries
Oversee the reservations system and ensure bookings are accurate and well organised
Communicate with guests via phone, email and other booking channels
Manage special requests, large bookings, celebrations and VIP guests
Coordinate closely with the floor and management teams to ensure smooth service
Help manage table allocations and maximise the restaurant's seating capacity
Build strong relationships with regular guests and create a personalised experience
Handle guest enquiries and resolve any reservation-related issues professionally
Assist with the day-to-day front-of-house operation when required
Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail during busy periods
About you
Has previous experience in restaurant reservations,
front-of-house or hospitality management
Is highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is calm and professional under pressure
Has a genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
Is confident using reservation systems and technology
Takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail
Is a positive team player who enjoys working alongside others
Is adaptable and available to work weekends – this is essential
Is happy to be hands-on and involved in the restaurant rather than working from behind a desk
