We are looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic Cashier to join our team every Thursday at Hornsby Market, located outside Hornsby Westfield, NSW 2077.
Hours: 7:00am – 2:00pm

We are looking for someone who:
-Has excellent customer service skills
-is friendly, polite and approachable
Is confident handling cash and payments
-Is comfortable adding prices quickly and accurately
Can use a phone calculator when needed
-Is rapid and productive, especially during busy periods
Has valuable attention to detail and can avoid pricing/calculation mistakes
Can learn and remember produce prices
-Is comfortable working around fresh fruit and vegetables
-Can stand on their feet for long periods
-Is punctual and reliable
-Works well as part of a team
-Maintains a positive attitude even when the market gets busy
-Helps keep the cashier area clean and organised
About the role:
Each cashier will be provided with a produce list including prices. You will need to calculate customers’ totals quickly and accurately. A phone calculator can be used, however, you must be comfortable working at a fast pace as there can be busy periods with multiple customers waiting.
Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right person.
