Central Coast Smash Repairs is looking for a reliable, energetic person with a outstanding work ethic to join our team in a full time, entry-level position. This is a full time position Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

No previous automotive or detailing experience is required. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and genuinely wants to be part of a busy workshop team.

About the role

Your day-to-day duties will include:
Washing and vacuuming vehicles ready for customer collection
Making sure vehicles are presented cleanly and paying attention to the small details
Moving and parking vehicles around the workshop and nearby
Checking off incoming vehicle parts and putting them away correctly
Emptying bins
General workshop cleaning and housekeeping
Helping with other general workshop duties as required

What we’re looking for Experience isn’t important to us. Reliability, attitude and attention to detail are.

Comfortable working independently once shown what needs to be done
Physically capable of an active, hands-on role
The holder of a current Australian driver’s licence

About the work workplace This is an active role in a working smash repair workshop. You’ll be on your feet for much of the day and the job involves washing and vacuuming vehicles, handling and putting away parts, and general workshop cleaning.

As with most workshop environments, it can be hot in summer and cold in winter, so applicants should be comfortable working in those conditions.

You don’t need previous experience. We’re happy to train the right person. What matters most to us is finding someone who is dependable, willing to learn and takes pride in their work.

Pay: $26.44 – $27.00 per hour
