An Indian restaurant in Bella Vista NSW is looking for an experienced Cook / Tandoor Chef to join our kitchen team.
This is a full time position. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and experienced in working in a busy Indian restaurant kitchen.
Duties include:
Tandoor preparation and cooking
Preparing and managing the entree section
Assisting with general food preparation around the kitchen
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
Assisting the kitchen team during busy service periods
Other general kitchen duties as required
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cook or Tandoor Chef is required
Experience in an Indian restaurant kitchen preferred
Must be available for full time work
Must be versatile and available to work across all days
Weekend availability is essential
Must be reliable and punctual
Must be able to work well as part of a team
Restaurant trading hours are 11am to 10pm.
