Warehouse / Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Storeperson at PakPot, you will play a key role in the secure and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse and production areas.

To be successful in this role, you must:
Be physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
Have strong attention to detail and good literacy skills for completing warehouse documentation accurately.
Be able to follow instructions, work safely, and operate independently after training.
Have experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Ability to Operate a Forklift.
Be reliable, punctual, and preferably have your own transport.
Be willing to work regular overtime, with an average commitment of approximately 45 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move and store raw materials, finished goods, packaging and pallets.
Load and unload trucks in a safe and productive manner.




Receive incoming goods and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets.
Use pallet wrapper to wrap products in preparation for transport / storage.
Put away stock and maintain accurate stock locations within the warehouse.
Prepare and issue raw materials and packaging for production requirements.
Select and collect stock items, accurately record quantities, and stage materials for production.
Count and record unused materials following production runs and return stock to the correct storage locations.
Complete daily forklift pre-operational checks and promptly report any faults, damage or safety concerns.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
Comply with all WHS policies, procedures and protected work practices.

Desirable

• VNA experience / Order picking Forklift licence
