Chatr Allied Health is looking for a Social Worker or Counsellor to deliver adaptable, person-centred support to people navigating complex social issues.
This isn't a role where you simply sit in a room and talk.
You'll work alongside people experiencing mental health challenges, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), domestic violence and housing instability, combining case management, counselling and advocacy to create meaningful change.
You'll be part of a team that prioritises trauma-informed care and client-centred approaches, collaborating with community organisations, support services and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support.
What you'll do
Deliver case management, counselling and advocacy services
Help clients navigate housing, AOD, domestic violence and other critical issues
Partner with community organisations and multidisciplinary teams
Provide adaptable, client-led care that makes a lasting difference

What we're looking for
A degree in Social Work, Counselling or a related field
Proven experience in social work or counselling, with strong case management and community engagement skills
Knowledge of mental health, trauma-informed care, AOD, domestic violence, housing and social services
AASW membership (for social workers) or equivalent for counsellors
A driver licence and Australian work rights
Based in Geraldton WA, or able to relocate before starting
