About the Role
This is a senior role within the Transactional Services team. You'll be responsible for accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, expense claims and payments, while keeping financial controls solid.
Key Responsibilities
Handling complex AP issues independently, including disputed invoices
Supporting weekly and monthly AP scheduling and task allocation
Reviewing and quality checking purchase order clean-up
Preparing month-end accruals,
journals and assigned balance sheet reconciliations
Setting up new fixed assets and preparing bank reconciliations
Identifying control gaps and inefficiencies, and helping implement process improvements
Supporting external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries
About You
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Strong experience in a deadline-driven AP role
Solid understanding of AP processes and financial controls
Confident with reconciliations and getting to the root cause of issues
Intermediate Excel skills
Proactive, organised and highly accurate
Excellent communicator who's comfortable managing stakeholders
