Pickers & Pruners Labour Hire is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Shed Hand to join our team, located in the Riverlands, South Australia.
The Role
As a Shed Hand, you will be working in a fast-paced packing shed workplace, where teamwork and a solid work ethic are essential. You must be prepared to work in varying weather conditions and be physically capable of handling the demands of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Palletizing cartons, trays, and crates
Ensuring cartons are labelled correctly
Erecting pallets
Strapping cartons to pallets
Retrieval/replacement of selected cartons for quality inspections
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
General cleaning duties as required
Secondary Duties
Packing oranges/bags into cartons
Sorting (hopper)
Leveling fruit at juice bin off station
Requirements
Team player with a positive attitude
Motivated and reliable
Ability to withstand tough working conditions
Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting, standing, and moving throughout the day
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate paid under the Horticulture Award (2010), Classification Level 2.
Working conditions as provided under the National Employment Standards (NES).
Work will start to start in January 2027
Training will be provided.
