An prospect is available for an experienced Power Station Operator - Mechanical to join a privately owned, well-funded organisation supporting critical diesel & gas power generation assets across remote operations.

Key Responsibilities
Preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel & gas generator sets
Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting on power generation equipment
Servicing and overhauling engines, cooling systems, fuel systems and associated plant
Assisting with generator testing, commissioning and load bank testing activities
Completing service reports and compliance documentation

Requirements




Mechanical Trade Qualification (Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Heavy Duty Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or similar)
Experience working on diesel and/or gas generators (CAT, Cummins, MTU or similar)
Experience working within power stations or remote generation facilities
Solid mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to pass medical and site inductions
Valid C-Class Driver's Licence
