Unity Jewellers is seeking a Qualified Jeweller to join our team on a full time basis in Redcliffe, QLD.
The ideal candidate will have strong bench skills, experience in general jewellery repairs, and the ability to handmake and restore jewellery to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general jewellery repairs, including ring resizing, soldering, chain repairs and claw retipping
Undertake jewellery restoration and remodelling
Handmake jewellery pieces from start to finish
Stone setting and other bench work as required
Maintain high standards of quality, precision and workmanship
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to customer expectations
Keep the workshop clean, organised and protected
About You
Proven experience in jewellery repair techniques including soldering, stone setting, sizing, and finishing
Demonstrated ability in handcrafting and designing jewellery pieces
Excellent eye for detail and commitment to delivering work of the highest quality
Ability to communicate effectively with clients about their requirements and expectations
Reliable, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects
A passion for jewellery craftsmanship and commitment to continuous improvement of skills
