Distribution Governance - Retail Banking Products - Risk Management

About the role In this role, you will support the oversight and assurance of third-party distribution partners, including brokers and aggregators, through data analysis, monitoring and risk-based investigations. You will conduct periodic assurance reviews, engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements, prepare management reporting, and maintain key policies, frameworks and procedures. Additionally, you will lead deep-dive reviews to identify improvement opportunities and drive the implementation of initiatives that strengthen risk management and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities
Support the oversight and assurance of third-party distribution partners, including brokers and aggregators
Conduct data analysis, monitoring and risk-based investigations
Conduct periodic assurance reviews
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements
Prepare management reporting




Maintain key policies, frameworks and procedures
Lead deep-dive reviews to identify improvement opportunities
Drive the implementation of initiatives that strengthen risk management and operational effectiveness

About you
Demonstrable experience working with Home and/or Business Lending Products
Solid risk and compliance mindset and a basic understanding of key regulatory and legislative requirements in the financial services industry
Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into business terms
Robust problem-solving skills to create creative solutions and recommendations to meet business needs
Ability to effectively prioritise and manage deadlines independently and a keen interest in operating with agile ways of working
