We’re seeking an exceptional and driven finance qualified looking to expand their knowledge and experience to join our team as an Accountant in a Full Time permanent capacity, working from our Macquarie Park corporate office.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will be integral in the day-to-day business support function to the wider business, working closely with the Business Partnering finance team to ensure all deliverables are met in accordance with deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of month end close, general ledger reconciliations and reporting
Prepare and post month-end journals eg. prepayments, accruals, provisions, local and global intercompany recharges
Daily bank reconciliation
Open items reporting
Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations and provide variance analysis
Prepare Corporate overhead cost allocation and post journals
Assist with the month-end preparation and finalisation of OneStream
Back up and support Financial Shared Services Team

About You
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
In depth understanding of accounting principles
Customer service focus, eager to learn and be open to new challenges
High attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting within deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a team workplace
Self-motivated
Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables, Vlookups, SumIfs)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Desirable criteria:
Strong analytical skills
Previous exposure to Navision and OneStream
