Roster: 2 Weeks On Site | 1 Week Workshop | 1 Week Off
Hydra Search have exclusively partnered with a well-established provider in the power generation sector. An opportunity is available for an experienced HD Mechanic to join a growing organisation supporting critical diesel power generation assets across both workshop and remote site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out engine rebuilds, servicing and maintenance on diesel power generation equipment
Diagnosing and repairing faults on generators and associated plant
Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance in remote operational environments
Completing inspections, servicing and overhaul activities to manufacturer standards
Maintaining accurate service reports and compliance documentation
Working safely across both workshop and field-based environments
Requirements
Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification
Experience working on diesel engines and power generation equipment
Experience with CAT, Cummins, MTU or similar engines highly regarded
Solid fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
Ability to work independently in remote environments
Ability to pass medicals and site inductions
Valid C-Class Driver's Licence
