We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join to be part of a successful and growing team based in Dandenong South. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end accounts
Manage general ledger, journals, and reconciliations
Preparation of AU and NZ tax related reporting, including BAS and FBT
Manage and support compliance with ATO, ASIC and statutory obligations
Monitor accounts payable/receivable and cash flow
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Involvement in internal control and process improvement projects
Skills & experience required:
A successful candidate will have:
CA/CPA qualified and/or degree qualification in accounting with good technical accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with SAP Business One strongly preferred
Solid Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, or AI and data tools
Solid analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work efficiently whilst managing a range of responsibilities.
Commitment to meeting deadlines whilst maintaining high standard of quality of work.
A confident, team player with a positive attitude and can think outside the box
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise at all levels.
