The business has a strong focus on quality product and customer service, with its own design and manufacturing operation as well as a wholesale division supplying major department stores.
About the Role
As the Store Manager, you will take ownership of the store's day-to-day operations, lead and develop the team and ensure customers receive a high level of service.
Leading and coaching a small retail team
Driving sales and delivering strong customer service
Managing rosters, stock processing and inventory
Overseeing online orders and general store administration
Maintaining visual merchandising standards
Building strong relationships with customers and developing repeat business
Supporting and developing the team in a positive, non-KPI-driven workplace
About You
We're looking for someone with solid retail leadership experience who enjoys being hands-on in a store setting.
You will ideally have:
Previous Store Manager or strong Assistant Store Manager experience
A background in fashion, apparel or a similar customer-focused retail workplace
Strong sales and customer service skills
Experience coaching and developing a team
Good knowledge of rostering, stock management and store administration
Experience with POS and retail inventory systems
Shopify or online retail experience would be beneficial
Solid communication and conflict resolution skills
A genuine ability to build relationships and create a great customer experience
Experience with clienteling and building customer loyalty
