Full-Time | Bundaberg and Wide Bay Demco Electrical is seeking a qualified electrician to join our Bundaberg team and support our continued growth throughout the Wide Bay region.
Demco Electrical delivers commercial construction, residential and project electrical work across Central Queensland, Wide Bay and Fraser Coast. We have a strong pipeline of work and are looking for a reliable electrician who wants stable employment, wide-ranging projects and the opportunity to grow with the business.
About the role
Working across Bundaberg and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for:
Commercial and residential electrical installations
Rough-ins, fit-offs, switchboards and mains
Reading and interpreting electrical plans, specifications and schedules
Testing, fault-finding and commissioning
Supervising and assisting apprentices where required
Coordinating effectively with supervisors, builders and other trades
Maintaining safe, tidy and professional worksites
Regional travel or working away when required by the project schedule
About you
You will need:
A current Electrical Licence
A current Construction White Card
A current driver’s licence
Relevant construction or project experience
Strong knowledge of electrical installation and testing requirements
The ability to read plans and work independently
Good communication and problem-solving skills
A dependable and safety-focused work ethic
Pride in delivering high-quality work
Previous experience supervising apprentices or leading small crews will be highly regarded.
