Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to execute accurate welds
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment used in government facilities
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of welding tools and safety gear
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and protected work workplace, adhering to WHS regulations and internal safety protocols
Inspect and maintain welding tools, PPE, and equipment to ensure readiness and compliance
Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly and participate in safety briefings
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
