Accounts All-Rounder & Payroll Officer Location: Employment Type: Full time Hours: 32 hours a week (4 days) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and organised Accounts All-Rounder & Payroll Officer to join our retail team. This is a hands-on position responsible for day-to-day accounting, payroll and administrative duties. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a busy retail environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Process supplier invoices, payments and receipts Reconcile bank accounts and supplier statements Process daily sales and financial transactions Maintain accurate accounting records and data entry Follow up outstanding invoices and payments Prepare regular accounts and financial reports Assist with month-end accounting procedures Liaise with suppliers, customers and external accountants Handle general office administration as required Payroll Process weekly/fortnightly payroll accurately and on time Maintain employee payroll records Process timesheets,
leave and other payroll adjustments Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with relevant requirements Assist with superannuation, PAYG and payroll reporting Respond to employee payroll queries Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in accounts and payroll, preferably within a retail environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good knowledge of bookkeeping and payroll processes Experience with accounting/payroll software such as Xero, MYOB, Employment Hero or similar Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Robust communication and problem-solving skills A qualified and confidential approach to handling financial and employee information What We Offer A friendly and supportive retail team Stable and ongoing employment A varied role with responsibility across accounts and payroll Competitive salary based on experience [Staff discounts / other benefits] Chance for professional development
