As a Senior Retail Assistant / Shift Manager, you will help lead the team during your shift while ensuring our customers receive excellent service and the store operates efficiently.
Key responsibilities
Supervising and supporting team members during shifts
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Opening and/or closing the store as required
Managing registers, cash handling and daily transactions
Restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management
Ensuring workplace health, safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
Assisting with staff training and onboarding
Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
Delegating tasks and ensuring daily priorities are completed
About you
Has previous supermarket, grocery experience
Has leadership or supervisory experience, or is ready to take the next step
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Can work flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays when required
