As an Apprentice Chef, you will work alongside experienced chefs and kitchen teams while developing your skills and completing your apprenticeship. You will gain valuable experience across different kitchen environments including luxury hotels, restaurants, pubs, clubs, catering and event venues.
Key responsibilities
Food preparation and basic cooking
Assisting senior chefs with daily kitchen operations
Following recipes and presentation standards
Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
Stock rotation and storage
Learning different cooking techniques and kitchen sections
Working as part of a skilled kitchen team
About you
Currently undertaking a 1st or 2nd Year Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Passionate about becoming a qualified chef
Willing to learn and develop skills
Able to work as part of a team
Well presented and qualified
Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends where required
