We are currently looking for reliable, motivated and safety-focused Traffic Control Workers to join our team in Newcastle.
About the Role
As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for helping maintain a safe environment for workers, pedestrians and road users at our construction site in Wickham.
Duties may include:
Directing and controlling traffic around construction site
Setting up and maintaining traffic control signs and equipment
Managing pedestrian movements
Assisting with site access and vehicle movements
Following Traffic Control Plans and site safety procedures
Communicating effectively with site supervisors and other workers
Maintaining a secure and professional work setting
What We’re Looking For
Current Traffic Controller qualification/ticket
Current White Card
Previous traffic control or construction experience is desirable
Strong commitment to safety
Reliable and punctual
Good communication skills
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
