About the Role

First State Auctions specialises in fine jewellery, Swiss watches and designer handbags. We’re looking for a Jewellery Administrator to help manage jewellery through each stage of preparation for auction.

This is a hands-on administration and coordination role where you’ll review item information, organise certification, liaise with jewellers and keep accurate records to ensure each piece is ready for auction.

Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing jewellery and item information for accuracy
Checking measurements, descriptions and documentation
Coordinating certification, authentication and valuations




Liaising with jewellers
Updating our inventory management system
Tracking items through each stage of preparation
Ensuring jewellery is fully documented and ready for auction

What we’re looking for:
Robust administration background
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in jewellery, luxury retail, auctions or a similar environment would be an advantage
Confidence working with detailed product information and systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment
