Key responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for clients by phone, email and in person, handling queries, follow-ups and requests for information
Manage client onboarding, correspondence and document collection
Complete current client identity and AML checks
Coordinate job workflow, deadlines and lodgement tracking
Prepare and send engagement letters, signing packages and client documents
Maintain client records across our practice management platforms
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate workflows using our digital tools
Document and improve internal procedures and templates
Support the team with general administration

About you
Eager to learn and grow. Previous experience isn't essential, as full training and support will be provided
Highly confident with technology. You pick up new software quickly and enjoy figuring out how to get more out of it
A friendly, clear and qualified manner on the phone and in writing
A process thinker who spots inefficiencies and proposes practical fixes
Robust attention to detail
Organised,



proactive and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
Experience in an accounting or professional services firm is highly regarded, but not essential
Familiarity with Xero, XPM, FYI, Ignition or Annature is a bonus, but not essential

Trekk Advisory is an accounting and advisory firm based in Bangalow. We act as the finance team for growing businesses and the families who own them. Our work runs from bookkeeping, BAS and payroll through to tax, business advisory and Virtual CFO support. Our clients include owner-run businesses, family groups with companies and trusts, and SMSFs across the Northern Rivers, South East Queensland and Sydney. We're a small, close-knit team that takes pride in doing great work for our clients, and we're serious about using technology to work smarter.
