About the Role

BM Webb Building Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our professional construction and maintenance team in Mount St John, QLD. Responsible for performing high-quality welding, fabrication, and repairs on a range of structural steel components, machinery parts, and metal assemblies. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel and metal components
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, plans, and specifications
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment
Operate workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project and industry standards
Maintain a protected and clean work workplace
Work independently and as part of a workshop team to meet production deadlines

Skills and Experience Required
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification




Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
Demonstrated proficiency in structural steel welding and fabrication
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
