We are looking for a friendly, confident and customer-focused Bar Attendant to join our team at Ocean Grove Bowling Club.

This casual role is a great opportunity to become part of a busy, welcoming and fast-paced hospitality workplace. With previous bar experience necessary, we are looking for someone who can confidently step into the role and provide a high standard of service to our members and guests.

As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages, processing orders and maintaining a clean and professional bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and serving members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Operating POS and EFTPOS systems and handling cash transactions
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area
Restocking fridges, glassware and bar supplies as required
Following all Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements




Assisting with opening and closing procedures
Working collaboratively with Duty Managers and other team members
Providing consistently high levels of customer service

To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
Solid customer service and communication skills
Confidence working in a busy hospitality workplace
A friendly, reliable and qualified attitude
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good attention to detail and presentation
Availability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
