Taylormade Building Solutions is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team. We're a small, family-run building business working across Southern Tasmania, specialising in new homes, renovations and extensions. We take pride in producing quality work and creating homes our clients are proud of. We're looking for someone who wants to build their skills, learn from experienced tradespeople and become a valued part of our team.
Key responsibilities
Work on residential building projects from start to finish
Gain hands-on experience across different stages of construction
Develop carpentry skills and knowledge under experienced tradespeople
Maintain workplace safety and keep job sites clean and organised
Respect clients, workmates, tools and job sites
About you
Currently a 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice
Hardworking, reliable and willing to learn
Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Works well as part of a small team
Punctual and dependable
Shows initiative and can follow instructions
Has their own basic tools
Holds a current driver's licence
Has reliable transport to and from job sites
