Our Launceston Business Advisory team has an exciting chance for an intermediate Accountant to join a close-knit, high-performing team. Work closely with the Senior Manager and Director of Business Advisory (TAS) with regular mentoring, guidance and support to help you grow your advisory capability.

Role responsibilities
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts
Prepare full set of accounts, tax checklists and cash-flow statements
BAS, GST and FBT returns
Construct and maintain working papers
Reconcile client accounts
Liaise with clients and external stakeholders
Work on various consulting assignments and projects as required
Role requirements
Our ideal new team member has:
A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent degree
Working towards your CA, CPA or equivalent qualified qualification
Minimum 1.5 years’ experience in accounting, ideally within public practice
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Motivation to grow professionally and contribute to team development
Ability to develop trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues
