About the chance

An exciting opportunity has become available for a high-performing National Account Manager to join a growing and highly regarded consumer products business, managing some of Australia’s key retail hardware customers. This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of major national accounts, build strong customer partnerships and play a key role in delivering continued commercial growth across the Australian market.

You’ll be responsible for developing and executing account strategies, managing commercial negotiations, driving ranging and promotional activity, and identifying new opportunities to grow both the customer and the broader business. We’re looking for a commercially minded account manager who knows how to build relationships, negotiate, influence and deliver. You’ll ideally bring experience managing national retail accounts within FMCG, consumer goods, hardware, tools or a related category, with a strong understanding of the Australian retail landscape.

You’ll be someone who is confident working autonomously, comfortable navigating complex customer relationships and commercially sharp when it comes to pricing, promotions, forecasting and growth opportunities.

What you’ll bring:
Proven National Account Management experience within a similar category with power tool experience preferred
Experience managing national retail hardware channels
Strong commercial and financial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills
A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to account growth
Solid analytical, planning and forecasting capability
